Day 1  Arrive – Stone Town

On arrival at the airport or harbor, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town. Overnight at the hotel on Bed & Breakfast basis

Day 2  Stone Town

After breakfast you depart for a stone town tour. Your guide will introduce you to all of the buildings of interest and famous viewpoints. Stonetown and its buildings are full of history and stories of the old times of Zanzibar, when Sultans and Arabs, the Europeans and Zanzibaris wrote the history of this beautiful island. You will visit the Anglican Cathedral and the Slave markets, the Palace of the Sultans, Tip Tip’s House, the Old Arabic Fort, Forodhani Park and of course the famous Zanzibar Doors in our petite little streets. We will show you Henna Art and bring you to the fruit and vegetable market. So be ready for a walk through the long history of Zanzibar and its numerous rulers

Lunch at Archipelago restaurant exclusive of drinks at 1500hrs depart by boat to prison island

Prison island is so called because of its first usage as a prison, which was built in 1893. But in fact was it used as a quarantine hospital and is nowadays the home of the giant turtles which were banned from the city of Stonetown.

Dinner at a local restaurant Return to the hotel for overnight

Day 3  Stone Town

After breakfast transfer to Mangapwani village. Visit of the slave caves and chambers. Lunch at Mangapwani Serena restaurant. The restaurant is located on the outskirts of Zanzibar stone town. The Serena Mangapwani Restaurant and Watersports Centre is a great destination for those looking for somewhere special. Visitors to Mangapwani are offered a fresh seafood barbeque cooked to perfection by Serena’s expert team of chefs. The atmosphere is informal and friendly and the restaurant comprises a series of traditional makuti bandas, all set into a lush hillside overlooking an idyllic beach. At additional costs guests can also enjoy fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, catamaran rides and other pleasant distractions at the well-equipped watersports centre. Late in the afternoon, drive back to stone town

4 days 3 nights  SWAHILI CLASSIC

Day 1 – Arrival in Zanzibar, Stonetown

On arrival at Zanzibar Airport, you will be met and transferred to Stone Town. Accommodation is on Bed & Breakfast basis.

Day 2 – Full Day Spice Tour

Depart from the hotel for a spice tour, This involves visiting the spices growing areas to see different spices and to learn their nature, uses and taste some of them right on the spot depending on the season. In addition it involves visits to
the famous spices producing area where you can see medicinal, cosmetics, ornamental plants and herbs. Most of the interesting items are cloves, nut meg, rambutan, lipstick, iodine plant, lemon grass, vanilla, henna, shampoo plant etc.
You will have the unique opportunity to purchase these exclusive spices straight from the source. Finally you will visit the Kidichi Persian Baths that were built by the first Sultan of Zanzibar named Sultan Said Said bin Sultan in 1850 and
Maruhubi Palace Ruins built by the third Sultan of Zanzibar named Sultan Said Baraghash Bin Said in 1880 which were built especially for housing 99 of his harem. Swahili Lunch at Serena Restaurant in Mangapwani. This if followed by a visit to the Slave caves. Dinner at a restaurant in town. Overnight at the hotel

Day 3 – Full Day Cultural Tour

After breakfast depart for a cultural tour. Today you will get a first hand glimpse at the everyday lives and enduring traditions of the Zanzibari people, on a visit to two separate and very special villages and also visit a local School. After Lunch at a Local restaurant you return to your Hotel. In the evening, depart from the hotel for a sunset cruise along Stone Town waterfront
Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 4 – Depart Zanzibar

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Day 3  Stone Town – Beach Hotel

Depart from the hotel for a spice tour, we will take you on a tour on a farm and explain each and every spice you can find in Zanzibar. You wouldn’t believe, if you haven’t seen yourself. Did you know that the Cinnamon Tree has 3 different smells? Or green, red and black pepper is the same plant? Would you recognize vanilla and why is it so expensive. After you have finished your tour, fully packed with presents from our nature, you have time to buy spices, soaps and crèmes which are all hand made by the community within the farm.

Lunch is included.

After lunch, you will be transferred to the beach hotel on the East or North East coast Accommodation on Half Board basis is included

Day 4  Beach Hotel

Spend the day at leisure on the beach or at the resort’s swimming pool. Scuba diving or diving course for beginners are available (at an additional cost) at most of the beach resorts in Zanzibar.
