Panoramica

Mikumi National Park lies south of Dar es Salaam, along the Tanzania-Zambia Highway. On this two-day safari you drive there on the first day and spend the night at a hotel.

The second day is a full-day game drive in the park, when hippos, buffaloes and elephants gather close to the water holes, with lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site. An English-speaking professional driver-guide is with you, and the transfers and game drives in the plan are included.

  1. Giorno 1

    Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

    Pickup is at 10:30 from Dar es Salaam city. Drive south along the Tanzania-Zambia Highway, with a picnic on the way.

    In the evening, arrive at your booked hotel and spend the rest of the evening there. Overnight at your hotel.

  2. Giorno 2

    Full-day game drive in Mikumi

    After breakfast, set off on a full-day game drive in the park to see hippos, buffaloes and elephants gathering close to the water holes.

    Lunch is at the Hippo Pool picnic site.

    At 17:00, leave for the drive back to Dar es Salaam.
