These terms apply when you book a trip on this site, run by Vacations of Africa ("we" or "us"). Read them together with the trip's own details and cancellation policy, which you see before you book.
Who we are
Vacations of Africa runs the trips on this site and is the company you book with. [To be added by Vacations of Africa: its registered name and address, its registration number, and the law and courts that govern these terms.]
The booking service behind this site is provided by Tour Pingo, which takes and keeps bookings for us. Your contract for a trip is with Vacations of Africa, not with Tour Pingo.
Prices and booking
- The price you see before you book is the total for your group, with what the trip includes. Anything not included is listed on the trip's page.
- Some trips are confirmed at once. Others are a request, and the booking is confirmed only when we accept it. We email you either way.
- You pay the amount shown at checkout, in the currency shown there.
- Before you book, check the trip's details: the start time and place, what is included, and any requirements such as age, fitness or documents.
Paying
At checkout you choose one of the ways we accept payment, such as a bank transfer, a payment link or paying on the day. Our instructions and any deadline are shown with your booking.
Changes and cancellations
- If you cancel: the trip's cancellation policy applies. It is shown on the trip's page and at checkout, with the dates and times until which you get a full or partial refund. You can cancel from your booking page.
- If you want to change a booking: ask from your booking page. We may accept or decline, and a change can change the price.
- If we cancel: you get a full refund of what you paid for the booking.
- If a trip can't run as booked, for example because of the weather or for safety, we tell you and offer what the trip's policy says.
- Refunds are paid back the way you paid.
On the day
Be at the meeting point or pickup on time, with what the trip asks you to bring. If you don't arrive and haven't cancelled, we may record a no-show, and the cancellation policy decides whether anything is refunded.
What we ask of you
- Give correct details for everyone in your group, and a way to reach you.
- Follow the guide's safety instructions and the local law.
- Make sure you have the passports, visas, vaccinations and insurance your trip needs. We recommend travel insurance.
Liability
We run each trip with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law where you live gives you and doesn't let a contract take away. Within what that law allows, we are not responsible for losses nobody could reasonably have foreseen, or for events outside our control.
Problems and complaints
If something goes wrong, tell us as soon as you can, on the day if possible, so we can put it right. You can write to us from the contact page.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you book applies to that booking.
